Yuriy Chulyukin was born on November 9, 1929 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia] as Yuri Stepanovich Chulyukin. He was a writer and director, known for The Girls (1962), Kak stat schastlivym (1986) and Pogovorim, brat (1979). He was married to Natalya Kustinskaya. He died on March 7, 1987 in Maputo, Mozambique.
