Othon Bastos was born on May 23, 1933 in Tucano, Bahia, Brazil as Othon José de Almeida Bastos. He is known for his work on Black God, White Devil (1964), São Bernardo (1972) and Of Gods and the Undead (1970). He has been married to Martha Overbeck since 1960. They have one child.
